AC Power Cable: 2 Pole Wall Plug to IEC-C7 Connector THE CHALLENGE: No matter how perfect an AC power source, distortion is added within any cable carrying AC, especially within any stranded cable. Even the most sophisticated power supplies and filters cannot completely eliminate these upstream irregularities. THE SOLUTION: uses solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) conductors in a Self Shielding Counter-Spiral Hyperlitz. Solid conductors prevent strand interaction, which is the greatest single source of distortion in an audio cable or an AC power cable. PSC+ copper's exceptionally high purity, nearly perfect surface finish, and refined interior grain structure dramatically reduce distortion compared to OFHC or other metals. The Counter-Spiral geometry minimizes conductor interaction while maintaining a fixed low-inductance relationship between conductors. NRG-1.5's two RF Stoppers filter Radio Frequency Interference in both directions. They reduce outside interference entering the equipment, and they prevent equipment generated interference (as from all digital equipment and tuners) from reaching other equipment in the system.
